‘I now know where I want my business to go and how to take it there. I have the support I need to step outside my comfort zone, make decisions and grow my firm.’

“Business coaching wasn’t something new to me when I first started working with the maestros. Since starting my firm in 2015 I’d worked with a couple on and off over the years. While I found their advice valuable, I struggled with implementing it. There were areas, both personally and with the business, that I needed support, guidance and assistance with.

I knew I wanted to grow the firm, but wasn’t sure how to go about it, what the different steps I needed to take were or even what order to take them in. If I’m really honest, I was in a bit of rut…

Maestro’s 360 degree approach appealed to me. It wasn’t about going through spreadsheets month after month, but rather working on all areas of the business to help me overcome my challenges and achieve my goals – on my terms.

It wasn’t just one person, with one set of skills – it was a team of maestros, each with their own specialty who could help, advise and guide me, rather than just tell me what I should do.

I already had a Senior Family Lawyer on board and was toying with the idea of hiring a Junior Lawyer and leasing a larger office. But, was unsure about the financial side of things, or if these were the right steps to take. Looking back now I realise I wasted a lot of time second guessing myself.

Being used to doing everything myself, my systems and processes were non-existent. I wasn’t great at following up prospects and took it personally when I didn’t win a client.

The maestros helped me identify the issues that were holding me and my firm back, work on them and overcome them. They check in regularly, keep me accountable and are only ever a phone call away.

I now feel more confident in my decisions. I know who my ideal client is and am no longer trying to be all things to everyone. I have a budget in place, a CRM and have just hired the Junior Lawyer. There’s a plan to grow the business and it is in motion. I’m freeing myself up to network and promote the business, instead of being stuck working in the business – because I have a team to do the work.

There are a lot of business coaches out there who will happily take your money and tell what you should do – but very few who are actually as invested in the outcome as you are. Emily and the maestros don’t just provide advice, they support, guide and encourage you, keep you on track and make sure you’re doing what you need to do, to get where you want to go.
