Meet the maestros

Emily Cubbins – Chief Maestro

BA LLB (Graduate Diploma Legal Practice) | MBA (Major in Finance).

I’m a ‘people person’. I love working with and helping business owners work towards their goals, and while it sounds cliché, make a sustainable difference in their life. I also love business.

In my past life I was a commercial lawyer. I worked with many business owners who had fallen out of love with their businesses. They wanted to change things, reignite the sense of excitement and passion and make their business more rewarding – but they were overwhelmed, overworked, uninspired and exhausted. I saw an opportunity.

After realising I wanted to do more than practice law I moved into business development and discovered my passion. While I was able to achieve great outcomes for my firm, I knew I needed more to fill my cup and saw an opportunity – to create a dedicated business development consultancy focussed on helping business owners develop a more rewarding business through strategic planning for the future, team building, delegation and succession planning – and maestro was born.

Imran Mustafa – Growth Maestro

Over the course of my career I’ve worked with large multinational companies, in sales, finance and operations leadership roles focussed on driving growth. Growth drives me.

Working around the globe – from California, to Pakistan, Dubai and Auckland – on average I have achieved a growth rate of 30% in each company I’ve worked for.

While I love seeing the numbers go up, it is the personal growth that goes hand-in-hand with it, that I thrive on. I have a passion for learning and a passion for teaching. I love to see those around me grow and develop. To share the joy of their learning and growth.

It is this passion that has led me to Maestro. A place where I get to come to work and share my knowledge and passion for growth, with business owners and their teams, so that their businesses can achieve great things.
